Comfomatic believe that choosing the correct bed or recliner chair can give you so much more than a good night’s sleep and comfort throughout the day. They offer their customers a personal service based upon years of experience and guarantee a fast, friendly and professional service.
They wanted to offer a removal service to sustainably dispose of unwanted goods which is why they partnered with Bulky Bob’s for Business to ensure that this could be carried out responsibly.
Our Service
Comfomatic return the pre-loved items to their headquarters where we then collect the following items on a weekly basis:
We guarantee that our prices and service levels are unrivalled and through partnering with us we are working collectively to help the environment and to invest in our local communities by creating more jobs and training opportunities.
What Happens to the Items?
Bulky Bob’s For Business is part of FRC Group, a social enterprise with a mission to End Furniture Poverty – this means making furniture available for reuse wherever possible rather than recycling. The organisation have the resources to do this and a Furniture World store where items are sold at very low prices or given for free to people most in need.
Mattresses are returned to Bulky Bob’s for assessment, and if suitable, are then prepared for re-use through the UltraClean Machine – our ground breaking new automated line which cleans mattresses using an intensive seven step process.
All other items are either refurbished and cleaned at one of our warehouses or in the volunteer area of our store, or are recycled responsibly.
What This Means for the Company
By choosing to dispose of items with Bulky Bob’s, Comfomatic is helping others by providing furniture and creating jobs, avoiding items reaching landfill and reducing CO2 emissions being released into the atmosphere.
Through their partnership with Bulky Bob’s for Business, Comfomatic are implementing corporate social responsibility in their practices.
