Almost 20 million people are without sufficient income to afford essential items like beds and this means there are over 400,000 children without their own bed in the UK.
As part of our mission to End Furniture Poverty we have designed and developed the first automated mattress UltraClean machine to deliver high quality, clean and fresh mattresses to those most in need.
The automated UltraClean machine line processes up to 8 mattresses per hour, meaning huge volumes of mattresses can be given a new and extended life, and good as new, clean mattresses can make their way to those in need as quickly as possible.
At the heart of the solution is the UltraClean seven stage process. The process ensures high quality, pre-loved mattresses, which may have been destined for landfill or broken down into parts for recycling, are UltraCleaned to remove:
At the heart of our new automated UltraClean solution is the UltraClean seven stage process which ensures high quality, pre-loved mattresses, are UltraCleaned to remove odours, stains, bacteria and mould and restored to extremely high cleanliness levels and are as good as new.
This solution for mattresses is far better for the environment as disposal or recycling is not required. And much better for those in need, who receive high quality, UltraClean mattresses.
We work with hotels, holiday villages, student accommodation and accommodation providers of all genres, as well as bed retailers and furniture shops, to develop a mattress recycling programme which suits their needs.
