How Bulky Bob’s Helped

Sarah, the Neighbourhood Manager contacted Bulky Bob’s on behalf of her client, Paul, who after being made redundant, and having very few friends or family for support, found himself sleeping on his couch with no money for the furniture he needed to live a secure and comfortable life.

From Bulky Bob’s contract with Liverpool City Council, to collect unwanted furniture items from homes across Liverpool, Bulky Bob’s are in a position where they can partner with organisation’s such as Everton In The Community. Bulky Bob’s can help people like Paul to get back on their feet, by providing good quality, gently used, essential furniture items via our Crisis Referral Scheme. These referrals are fulfilled by Bulky Bob’s retail store Bulky Bob’s Furniture World.

The Impact

Paul now has the 14 essential furniture items needed to start rebuilding his life. Bulky Bob’s have provided a safety net for him to concentrate on other areas of his life, taking the burden of furniture poverty or the possibility of incurring debt off his mind.
