We have volunteer placement opportunities at Bulky Bobs Furniture World, the volunteers have the opportunity to get involved in the reuse and recycle of the furniture that comes into the shop. Volunteers will mend, paint, clean and upcycle all types of furniture which is then made available to people in furniture poverty. We currently have 8 volunteers.
We run a Trainee Programme called Driving Change, Driving Change is a paid training programme which offers people the opportunity to obtain a range of qualifications to prepare them for work in the logistics industry. They go out each day with one of our experienced drivers known as mentors, learning the role and skills of the road
We also have apprenticeship roles. All are different and supported by our People and Culture team. Many apprentices go on to have a long and successful career as part of the company.
