Culture Camp

How do we go about making excellent service the number one priority for everyone in our business? The answer lies in our Culture and starts at Culture Camp! Culture Camp is our induction process that manages a sustained process of learning and development for both individual employees and the business as a whole. The goal is to get people off to the best start, improve our processes and practices, teach new skills, share expertise and hone our customer service skills to the finest point possible.

Values

Our values Culture works in a number of ways. It promotes, develops and defines the four core values of the organisation – Passion, Creativity, Bravery, and Professionalism. These values are essential to providing a great service, and they are at the heart of everything we do. When we recruit staff we look for evidence of each of those values as personal attributes.

Learning

Through our learning culture we deliver ongoing training, bringing in external  expertise but also drawing on the skills and talent from existing staff members to  conduct seminars and participatory workshops – such as our ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions.

Projects

It also develops and fosters confidence and a sense of ownership and pride amongst all staff by inviting them to participate in working groups – which we call Culture Vultures – to tackle special projects – such as reshaping our office space, conducting charity initiatives or organising our annual Values Awards Ceremony.

Insight

Finally, our culture encourages employees to voice questions, comments and feedback – which provides a unique and broad level of insight and helps to continuously improve our processes and service.

Above all, through our culture we invest in our staff. Not only does it teach all FRC employees new skills, it makes them feel valued, and it is this two-fold nurturing that creates confident and happy employees willing to go the extra mile to provide the best possible service for our clients.
