The Gateway is a Wates Living Space new build project, delivered on behalf of Whitefriars Housing, part of WM Housing. It is a \u00a36m state-of-the-art facility to provide accommodation, training and support to homeless people in Coventry. It comprises 63 rooms, including 61 studios and two one-bedroom apartments, and is part-funded by a \u00a32.1m grant from the Government\u2019s Homelessness Change Fund. Residents sign up to an intensive support programme to access the accommodation and on-site facilities, which will help them move on to independent living.<\/p>\n

Furniture Resource Centre was recommended by Midland Heart to Wates, to provide all furniture and window coverings, to be supplied and installed on a tight timescale to allow residents to move in as soon as the project was complete. We furnished the reception, communal lounges, kitchens and bedrooms, with a full interior design service in the reception area and ensured that all our furniture fabrics and window coverings coordinated with the decor. The bedroom furniture supplied was from our Pennine range,designed and tested for challenging behaviour environments, maintaining BS certificates for strength and stability.<\/p>\n
