Buckingham Interiors has supported Torus with a turnkey service including interior design, bespoke furniture supply, and installation within a new-build extra care housing community.

The project centred on Spinnaker House, a new build accommodation scheme in Rock Ferry, Merseyside, with the contract to complete works awarded via Procurement Hub.

The scope of work covered a wide range of furnishing, accessories, artwork, planters and bespoke window manifestations. Our team also specified additional interior features, including flooring, wall coverings and lighting throughout all communal areas.

The project took a collaborative approach, with a project manager working closely with Torus’s Development and Supported Housing team to design bespoke interiors that met aesthetic and functional needs. From concepts and mood boards to detailed specifications, stakeholders were engaged throughout, ensuring their input shaped the final design.

New build projects present their own unique challenges, but the team was able to plan and meet any unforeseen challenges that arose.  The outcome is a beautifully designed and furnished home that residents love, with communal spaces that bring the scheme’s community together in comfort.
