FRC awarded prestigious Procurement Hub contract as sole supplier on Furniture and Homeware framework

After a fully compliant OJEU tender exercise, FRC including interior design senior living specialists Buckingham Interiors, have been awarded as sole supplier to Procurement Hub members on the Furniture and Homeware framework.  The framework is for 4 years.

Procurement Hub is part of Places for People, one of the UK’s largest property management, development and regeneration companies. Places for People are responsible for more than 200,000 properties and over 120 leisure centres across the UK, so their procurement expertise is second to none.

FRC is an experienced and reputable national supplier of contract furniture and homeware to housing providers, local authorities, care sector, students, construction, education and NHS.  FRC and its senior living brand, Buckingham Interiors, have over 20 years of experience working in these sectors and work with customers to develop an interior design and furniture solution to suit budget and design aspirations.

The FRC way is to provide flexible and practical purchasing solutions, meaning customers are able to buy, rental or lease furniture packages.  They have a proven track record in providing excellent customer service, quality products and dedicated account management.  Their ISO9001 QMS underpins all their services.  They have safe working practices around Covid, and operated throughout the pandemic supplying essential items to customers nationally.

FRC has fit for purpose contract standard product ranges to suit all accommodation types including a range for people living with dementia.   Products are tested and certified to British Standards for contract quality giving complete confidence in the suitability of the ranges available and that they comply with all the necessary Health and Safety and Fire Safety regulations, as well as the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

They provide a top-quality interior design service, for new builds and scheme refurbishments, helping you realise the final image you want to achieve whilst selecting the right contract standard products.  Their resident consultations and full turnkey project management service is second to none, and they have a list of stocked items for fast delivery by their in-house delivery team – many of which are available on a 5 day lead-time from one of their national depots.

Social Value is at the heart of what they do.  Funded entirely through contributions from the supply chain, the social value fund is equivalent to 1% of the turnover generated through the framework and can help make a real difference to the lives of residents.

With FRC and Buckingham Interiors the Furniture and Homeware framework offers value for money and a unique service helping to achieve two key goals – getting the very best service and high quality products within tight budgets, and delivering social value through the supply chain to help improve the lives of residents.
